About the event
The Jason Lane Band is an award-winning blues band that delivers the best of upbeat, dance-able rock and blues music from the 70s to 90s. Fronted by powerhouse singer Chantal Amott, the band pays homage to the songs that influenced them and the powerful female singers of that time. Sing along with tributes to Alannah Myles, Aretha Franklin, Sass Jordan, Tracy Chapman, Heart and Pat Benetar just to mention a few.
Although the band leans heavily on covering these classic tunes, they have also released four EPs containing their own original rock-blues sound. This sound helped them clinch the title at the International BC Blues Challenge 2023 and crowned Band of the Year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards 2023.
